The 1830 Project focuses on the generation of younger Americans who are more socially and ethnically diverse than their elders in every way imaginable. While this is a great thing and the trend will continue, The 1830 Project is meant to encourage younger people in between the ages of 18 and 30 to stand up and fight for their individual freedoms and financial futures.
The Generation Y United States citizens will be and are the future of this great country we all love. The decisions they make today and beyond will have far-reaching consequences to the landscape and future of America. The goal of The 1830 Project is to inform the younger generation of the choices they have and how their decisions will most certainly have an impact on the future of not only themselves, but our country collectively as a whole.
We are all socially interconnected and more dependent than ever on each other, as the current economy has shown us. The younger people who make up The 1830 Project have grown up and relied on technology so much to the degree that the Internet and social media are now a huge part of their DNA makeup. The decisions they make and choices they decide are reflected in their beliefs and values in part that they may have received from their influence of social media, TV, Internet, and other mediums of technology themselves.
The United States is qualitatively different from other foreign nations. The idiom used to express this difference, not for the purpose of implying superiority but to define its special uniqueness, is “American Exceptionalism”.
In the 1830s, Alexis de Tocqueville described the United States as “exceptional” due to our beliefs in liberty, equality, constitutionalism, and the well-being of ordinary people, all of which emerged out of the Revolutionary era.
And, the basic ideological concepts that are at the core of ” American Exceptionalism” and, that set the United States apart from any other nation sharing the planet, is best seen in how we, as a nation embrace our beliefs in:
- Individual Freedom
- Equal Justice
- Rights From God
Why The 1830 Project?
We simply cannot observe in silence…
The 2012 Election is surely the most important election in recent American history.
The future of our country, its citizen’s liberties and financial well-being will literally be determined by the outcome of the next election.
The type of country that “The 18-30 Millennials” will inherit will be determined by the way they answer the question “What will America look like when it is your turn to run things?”
The 1830 Project is dedicated to educating, motivating and inspiring the “Millennials”, to not only participate in the 2012 election, but to do so intelligently and armed with the knowledge of why a constitutional conservative government is essential to their personal futures and that of America.
Join us in this fight to help educate our younger people and reach out to them and let them know the seriousness of their decisions and how they will affect all of the older generations of people when they are “old” and living in nursing homes or living with their adult children.
The 1830 Project is just one way we can help inform our young people and get them to be active in voting for the 2012 election. Join the cause today and help The 1830 Project serve its purpose by challenging the youth to fight for their financial and individual futures and freedoms.
